President: Chris Cherry

Works with the campus ministers to plan weekly team meetings and leadership retreats
Shepherds and cares for each of the team members
Helps communication flow between the leadership team and the campus minister
Represents campus ministry at campus, community, and state events
Helps develop a vision for the ministry and assists in setting goals and direction for the team
Presides over the weekly team meeting
Enlists students to participate in KBC retreats and gatherings
Initiates missions fundraising and outreach events with leadership team
Works with the campus ministry staff to hold the leadership team accountable to developing a hospitable, kind, and servant-minded attitude towards those on our campus who are not involved in campus ministry

Missions: Elizabeth Patrick

Sets up and publicizes missions interview opportunities for GC students
Oversees planning, publicizing, and forming of spring break mission trips
Includes testimonies and missions emphasis at Common Ground and other campus venues
Links students with missionaries in residence and their ministry
Helps plan commissioning services for spring break and summer missionaries
Finds ways to solicit prayer support for our missions efforts
Organizes care packages/notes for our summer missionaries
Trains students to share their testimony and the Gospel with unbelievers

Creative Ministry: Rebecca Smith

Selects leaders for each creative ministry team and "revival" or youth team
Helps team leaders enlist members, set practices, performance pieces, etc.
Publicizes and books opportunities for teams to perform/lead both for Common Ground and for local congregations
Works with church relations (HK Kingkade) to support churches as needed
Plans workshops/retreats for these ministry teams to bond and train together

Community Missions

Finds student leaders for each local mission and helps them develop a team
Works with service learning and Anthony Rupard to coordinate campus wide efforts with these places
Attends mission sites on a regular basis
Encourages and supports the leaders of each team
Attends community meetings about local needs students might fill
Seeks to support students who have a passion about starting up new opportunities to serve

Common Ground/Worship: Coran Stewart & Morgan Faulkner

Plans Common Ground through weekly team meetings
Develops Common Ground theme during the summer for the following school year in consultation with campus ministry staff
Works with Common Ground band to design worship experiences
Creates and operates audio visuals for Common Ground in consultation with Media Ministry Chair, Matthew Hubbard
Gets regular feedback and ideas from students for Common Ground
Recruits students to lead prayer experiences during Common Ground
Helps in contacting and coordinating speakers for Common Ground

Media Ministry: Matthew Hubbard

Promotes campus ministry events to the broader campus community
Recruits a team and enlists the team members to cover the following responsibilities:
- Collecting, printing, and distributing announcements for Common Ground
- Creating and distributing "The Throne"
- Video, photography, and media production for campus ministry
- Maintaining and updating the campus ministry website--working with Lori Taylor, Administrative Assistant
- Producing posters, banners, and other publicity for events of campus ministry as requested
- Conveying newsworthy information and stories to our campus P.R. Department and the "Georgetonian"
Creates and operates audio visuals for Common Ground in consultation with Worship Chair person(s)

Freshman Family Groups: Jacob Price & Ashley Morgan

Prayer Ministry: Heather Norman

Responsible for internal communications among the leadership team and others involved in campus ministry
Responsible for taking minutes and attendance at leadership team meetings and for keeping an updated calendar of events and passing on that information to the Master Calendar contact of GC and Lori Taylor
initiates a prayer team for the different areas of ministry
implements a prayer ministry and prayer emphases for special events
Creates a regular prayer walk on campus
Encourages staff, faculty, and students through notes, visits, etc.

Social Justice: Ashley Clayton

Heightens student awareness of issues of oppression, poverty, and injustice in the world and challenges students to consider a Christian response to action while raising awareness of many of the organizations in which students can become involved
Reaches out to students who are interested in these issues, but are not involved in other areas of campus ministry
Maintains the International Justice Mission chapter on GC campus
Enlists faculty and staff to lead small group discussions on Social Justice
Helps plan campus events such as speakers, films, etc. to involve students in Social Justice
Finds opportunities for students to serve the poor and oppressed in our local community

Upperclassman Ministries: Mary Alice Birdwhistell

Works with a team of uperclassmen (including Greeks, Independents, Athletes, and Campus Ministry students) to develop new and creative ways to keep upperclassmen involved in campus ministry
Reaches out and helps to serve areas of campus where upperclassmen are involved (Greek life, sports teams, residence halls, music groups, etc.)
Mentors student leaders for upperclassman small groups and oversees this ministry
Keeps inventory of other bible studies/devos on campus
Networks with chaplains of campus organizations and meets with them 2-3 times per semester
Plans retreats including upperclassman components of New Year Retreat
Passes on the multiplication and life-on-life discipleship model to upperclassmen
