Missions Fundraising

STAY TUNED FOR UPCOMING FUNDRAISING EVENTS!

Community Missions

Quest Farm
A local center for physically and mentally handicapped adults. Students in the past have helped at the center by planning parties and games for the residents along with special events around the holidays.

Hispanic Ministries
Students at Georgetown College have ministries for the Hispanic residents in Georgetown through Gano Baptist Church and local elementary schools. Students assist with the Hispanic services at Gano and tutor Hispanic children at local elementary schools.

Scroggins Park
Every Tuesday and Wednesday, beginning Sept. 11, you can join with other Georgetown College students to help school children with homework and play with them. There are lots of children who would love to have an older role model from Georgetown who plays with them. You may help color, help with homework, play games, play outside, and help hand snacks out for the children at Scroggins Park.  (See calendar for more dates and information.)
Student Leaders, Makenzi Hoffman, Alex Dixon, Sara Clarke

Nursing Home
We are trying to set a date to go and visit the elderly and cheer up their day at the Nursing Home. In the past we have made cards for holidays and passed them out, played games, and sing songs with the residents.
