Fall 2005
- Brown Scholar events included the annual Meet and Greet dinner in the Hall of Fame Room, a freshman Scholar trip to New York City, and a trip to Keeneland for the horse sales, accompanied by a faculty/student dinner at Holly Hill Inn in Midway, KY.
Spring 2005
- Brown Scholar events included the annual etiquette dinner for freshman Scholars at the Lafayette Club in Lexington, KY, and a Senior Sendoff dinner held at Spindletop Hall in Lexington.
- On Academic Honors Day, several Brown Scholars were honored for
their outstanding scholastic performance.
- Whitney Purcell was honored with the most prestigious award of all: the Dean's Honor Award.
- Caitlan Adkins received the Roberts Travel Scholarship and the award for best underclassman in Philosophy.
- Braden Blankenship was recognized as a member of the college's Academic Team.
- Rachel Brewer received honors in both Art and English upperclass prose, along with the Roberts and Fogle Travel Scholarships.
- Charles Casey was recognized for best performance in Japanese
- Justin Craft received both the Senior Economics Award and the award for the outstanding major in Math
- Laura Levy was honored as the Outstanding Rising Senior in Communication and Media Studies.
- Jarrod Lopez received the Heizer Book Award in Philosophy, the Weller Award in Religion, and was named Outstanding Student in New Testament Greek.
- Emily Major received the Herbert Anderson Scholarship in Pre-Med
- Bethany Meier received the Computer Graphics Studio Award in Art
- Jeremiah Myers received the Religion award
- Justin Newsome was recognized for his involvement with the college's Investment Club
- Patrick Purcell was both recognized as a member of the Academic Team and received the Outstanding Chemistry Student award.
- Amanda Scott and Abigail Riddle both received the Biology award for First-Year students
- Riddle was also honored as the Outstanding Freshman in General Chemistry.
