Welcome Brown Scholars!
The Brown Scholar Leadership Recognition Program was created in 1996 at Georgetown College through a grant from the Louisville-based James Graham Brown Foundation to provide enriching learning opportunities for Brown scholarship recipients.
The Leadership Recognition Program's focal points are scholarship and leadership with an "expand-your-horizons" mentality. The Foundation specifically wants the Brown Scholars to develop into a cohesive group of friends who have an awareness and understanding of what it means to be a "Brown Scholar."
