Admissions Criteria

  • Graduation from high school.
     
    • A student who has not graduated from high school may apply for admission on the basis of successful completion of a GED (General Education Development) test battery.
    • Applicants should rank in the upper half of their high school graduating classes and should have an overall average of B or better in college preparatory subjects.
    • Each applicant should offer 20 units of credit. We strongly recommend that these credits include four units in English, three units each in science and mathematics (including algebra I and II), and two units each in social studies and foreign language.
       
  • ACT or SAT I scores.
     

Georgetown College admits qualified persons without regard to sex, physical handicap, race, color or national or ethnic origin; however, Georgetown is primarily a residential campus community and the college reserves the right to deny applications where residence hall space for men or women is not available.
